Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school provides housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed to support student and staff needs for a thriving environment. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
