Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing guidance and a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a structured, family-like setting on the school’s campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Proselytizing is prohibited)
