Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides exceptional career-focused education, housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds from pre-K through 12th grade. The school is fully endowed, ensuring both students and staff have everything they need to thrive. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, offering a family-like environment for approximately 8-12 students in on-campus student homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples of at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
