Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples for the Youth Development Specialist role. This unique position involves serving as flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds within a family-like environment on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; must be legally married for at least two years; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted on duty; limitations on pets (only fish and one approved dog breed); complete individual employment application; exemplary integrity as role models for students
