Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents, providing a stable and family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique private school offers students in pre-K through 12th grade a career-focused education with housing, meals, and more, all covered by the school’s endowment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus guidelines including smoke-free, weapon-free, and no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
