Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents, offering guidance and support to 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a nurturing on-campus setting. The school provides a comprehensive education from pre-K through 12th grade, including housing, meals, and other benefits, all covered by an endowment set up by its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly from under-served settings; must be part of a legally married couple for at least two years; both spouses must be 27 years or older; adhere to campus policies such as no smoking, weapons, alcohol on duty, and limited pets; possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive student home vans; ability to lead daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity as role models for students; both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
