Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists. Couples will act as flex houseparents, providing guidance and structure for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds in an on-campus family-like setting. Responsibilities include driving, administering medication, and fostering a nurturing environment for the students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; two years of legal marriage required for couples; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; must maintain a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; adherence to pet limitations; complete individual employment applications for both spouses
