Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing nurturing guidance and emotional support to students in a family-like environment on campus, offering a career-focused education to disadvantaged youth.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free environment; limit pets to fish and one approved dog breed; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students
