Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Flex houseparents provide guidance and nurture to a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment, handling responsibilities such as transportation and medical administration while offering a structured and supportive living arrangement on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years; Both spouses should be age 27 or older; High school diploma or GED required; Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students; Both spouses must complete an individual employment application
