Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and full support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. The school was established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, providing students with housing, meals, and all educational expenses covered. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, creating a family-like environment for students and actively contributing to their development and well-being.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly from under-served backgrounds; this is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations such as no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only approved breeds allowed; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
