Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and housing to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, thanks to the generosity of its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey. MHS is fully endowed to provide a thriving environment for both students and staff. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
