Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost to students. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, creating a nurturing environment for groups of students on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with a minimum of two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
