Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) offers an exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, fully endowed by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides housing, meals, and all necessary resources for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; must demonstrate a high level of integrity as role models for students
