Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides career-focused education and comprehensive support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, offering free housing, meals, and exceptional resources for students and staff to thrive. Milton Hershey School is currently seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, fostering a family-like environment for groups of 8-12 students on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
