Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples provide a nurturing and structured living environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in on-campus homes, ensuring personal growth and support.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol on duty and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
