Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, ensuring a thriving environment for both students and staff. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support for groups of approximately 8-12 students, offering a consistent family-like structure.

Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are both aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; adherence to campus policies including smoke-free, weapon-free environment and no alcohol while on duty; possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
