Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents in a family-like setting for students in Hershey, PA. This unique educational institution offers students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds a comprehensive career-focused education with all living expenses covered.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples of at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on pets allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
