Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education from pre-K through 12th grade for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, endowed by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, provides housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs to ensure student and staff well-being and success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to guide and nurture groups of students in a family-like setting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings; legal marriage for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading student devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as role models for students; individual employment applications for both spouses
