Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides exceptional career-focused education, including housing, meals, and more, to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, ensuring students and staff have all resources needed to thrive. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, offering a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of youth.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free, and no alcohol permitted while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
