Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a distinguished private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides comprehensive resources for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance, nurture a small group of students, and maintain a family-like structure.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; two-person job for married couples of at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable with leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; no alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; limitations on pets; both spouses to complete individual employment application.
