Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides exceptional career-focused education and housing to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, offering a nurturing environment for both students and staff to thrive. Currently, MHS is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding approximately 8-12 students with care and support.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and willingness to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited); demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
