Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to work as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Flex Houseparents offer a family-like structure, administer medication, drive students, and serve as role models in a nurturing environment focused on student development.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; comfortable leading students in devotions and chapel services; valid driver’s license; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules on smoking, weapons, and alcohol; limitations on pets.
