Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering a unique career-focused education and comprehensive support to students from pre-K through 12th grade with backgrounds of need. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and full financial coverage. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to nurture and guide a small group of students, creating a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses must be 27 years or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; adhere to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attendance at Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high level of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
