Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school offering career-focused education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents on campus. These couples will nurture and guide a group of 8-12 students in a supportive family-like environment, overseeing various responsibilities like driving, medication administration, and budgeting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
