Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing guidance and a nurturing environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school covers all costs, including housing and meals, and offers a career-focused education from pre-K through 12th grade.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity; completion of individual employment application by both spouses
