Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a private school providing exceptional career-focused education and housing for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers a unique opportunity for married couples to serve as flex houseparents, nurturing and guiding groups of students in a family-like environment on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity; completion of individual employment application by both spouses
