Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers a career-focused education with housing and meals to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, ensuring all students and staff have the resources to thrive. Currently, MHS is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to a group of 8-12 students in on-campus student homes.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students
