Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides a comprehensive education and support system for students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, covering all costs for students, including housing and meals, to ensure their success and well-being. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, residing on campus and nurturing a small group of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must have been legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; complete individual employment applications for both spouses
