Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique role involves providing a nurturing environment and support to students, fostering a family structure within an exceptional educational setting where all costs are covered.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with each spouse age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free policy, and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
