Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides a fully endowed environment where students and staff thrive with all expenses covered. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students, maintaining a family-like structure and fulfilling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses must be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high school diploma or GED required; high degree of integrity as role models for students
