Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents in a unique and rewarding role. The school provides students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pre-K through 12th grade with a career-focused education, housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost, thanks to the generous endowment by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; must abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, restrictions on pets, and no alcohol while on duty; valid driver’s license; ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
