Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists, known as flex houseparents. Flex houseparents play a vital role in guiding, nurturing, and providing essential support to approximately 8-12 students in a family-like environment, fostering positive life experiences for underprivileged youth.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be 27 years old or older; abide by campus regulations on children, pets, and alcohol; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
