Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists, known as flex houseparents. In this unique role, couples provide support and guidance to 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, creating a nurturing family-like environment while engaging in community activities and managing household responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legal marriage for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; abide by campus regulations on pets, smoking, alcohol, and weapons
