Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers a unique opportunity for married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, nurturing and guiding a group of 8-12 students in on-campus homes. This role provides a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, including managing daily activities, medication administration, budgeting, and more.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity and ability to serve as a role model for students
