Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private educational institution offering career-focused education and housing to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed to provide students and staff with everything they need to thrive. The Youth Development Specialist position involves married couples serving as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing groups of students in a supportive educational setting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses required to complete individual employment application.
