Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. Couples in this role create a family-like environment for 8-12 students from underprivileged backgrounds, providing guidance, support, and essential daily care within the school’s campus housing.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limited pet restrictions; valid driver’s license; must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses to complete individual employment applications.
