Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a comprehensive education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed to provide students and staff with all the necessary resources for a successful academic and personal development journey. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to support and guide a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be 27 years or older; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, alcohol on duty, and limitations on pets; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
