Position: Winery Operations Manager
About: We love wine and can’t help sharing our passion for it with others. Our mission is to help you find delicious wines to share and enjoy. We specialize in a global selection of artisanal wines from small-batch and family-run wineries. Our wine selections are available in-store, online, and through our personalized wine shopping service called Concierge, where clients get a personal sommelier who’ll handpick wines based on their taste and budget.
Requirements: 2-3 years of work experience in an operational or marketing role, ideally in retail and/or the wine industry; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), retail technologies (POS, e-commerce, CRM), social media tools, and Apple products (iMAC, iPhone, iPad); Current ABC Managers license or ability to obtain one: Requirements include Clean Hands Certification, Police Clearance (no felonies), and Alcohol Awareness Training; Certification from Wine & Spirits Education Trust, Society of Wine Educators, or sommelier certification very strongly preferred; Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining focus to detail; Awesome communication and problem solving skills; Customer-focused; Demonstrated passion for fine wine; 110% effort and eagerness to learn at all times; Positive attitude when things get tough; Reliable and accountable; At least 21 years of age
