Position: Wine Steward
About: King’s Seafood Company, operating Water Grill in Southern California, is seeking a Wine Steward to guide guests through a superior wine experience and drive sales while providing excellent service and wine knowledge.
Requirements: Minimum of 21 years of age; High school graduate, some college; Level 1 Court of Masters, WSET level 2, or equivalent; Current CA Food Handler’s Card; Ability to communicate verbal and written English effectively; Ability to recognize and open wine/champagne bottles effortlessly; Complete knowledge of glassware and decanting techniques; Strong understanding of winemaking regions, vineyards, styles, and producers; Familiarity with state liquor regulations; Excellent communication and customer service skills
