Position: Wine Steward
About: At Giant Eagle Inc., a renowned retail and grocery store chain in the Greater Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis Areas, we are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Wine Steward to join our team. As a Wine Steward, you will play a vital role in creating a delightful wine experience for our guests, offering expert recommendations, and contributing to the overall customer shopping experience.
Requirements: 1 to 3 years of experience desired; strong customer service experience required; wine knowledge and/or wine industry experience preferred; experience in retail food, catering, or restaurant environment desired; high school diploma or equivalent education required; certification from a sommelier organization such as The Court of Master Sommeliers preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; minimum age of 21 years required
