Position: Wine Captain
About: City Winery, a unique facility combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events, and fine dining, is seeking a Beverage Captain to join their team. This establishment aims to deliver a high-end culinary and cultural experience to their clientele in the heart of a large city.
Requirements: 3+ years as a sommelier/wine steward or equivalent relevant experience; extensive knowledge of wines, winemaking, beer, and spirits; ability to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and exceed expectations; strong work ethic, team player attitude, and exceptional guest service skills; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and polished presentation; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to resolve problems and work independently or in a team environment; fluently literate in English and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; able to perform physical requirements of the role including standing/walking for entirety of shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical tasks as needed
