Position: Weekend Kitchen Manager
About: Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul is seeking a Weekend Kitchen Manager to oversee the preparation of well-prepared, healthy, and family-friendly meals to serve their shelter guests. This position involves organizing and supervising assigned volunteers, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the commercial kitchen, and potentially filling in for the Head Chef or Chef.
Requirements: 1+ years of experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment; willingness to work weekends, holidays, and weekdays when needed; ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment; Food Manager Certification (training provided if hired); acceptance and respect for diversity; honesty, dependability, and professionalism; patience, understanding, creativity, and fairness with participants; ability to lift 30 lbs, perform basic cleaning tasks, and climb stairs regularly; personal commitment to the mission of Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul
