Position: WAREHOUSEMEN
About: Bridgeport Public Schools, located at 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT 06604, is seeking Warehousemen for their Nutrition Center under AFSCME. The salary range for this position is $41,433 – $52,474. Current BPS employees who are members of AFSCME Local 1522 will have priority in filling this role.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; working knowledge of all warehouse equipment; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent work attendance; ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks; cooperative team player with good communication skills; familiarity with data entry; familiarity with city health and safety regulations and FIFO standards
