The Server position involves courteously serving resident and guest meals, as well as clean-up and resetting of the dining room post-meal service. Responsibilities range from maintaining knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures to assisting residents with orders and providing beverage service. This role requires understanding table setting, food preparation, proper serving techniques, and following confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene; Must be able to read and follow simple instructions; Must possess the ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks; Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles; Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision; Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull objects; Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet; Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members; Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
