Position: Waiter (Trainee) NA 02/03
About: This company is offering a developmental position leading to the full performance level of Waiter, NA-7420-03. The employee will be non-competitively promoted to the next grade after satisfactory performance within six months. The position involves closer than normal supervision until reaching the full performance level. Promotion to the full performance level Waiter is possible upon completion of required training, meeting all regulatory and qualification requirements, and performing the full scope of major duties under the proper level of supervision. Applicants may be considered for the developmental position Waiter (Trainee) NA-7420-02 or at the full performance level Waiter NA-7420-03. Experience must be clearly demonstrated in the resume to be eligible for the Waiter NA-03 role.
Requirements: Applicant must meet the state of Texas age requirements (18 years old) for serving alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment; possess basic math skills necessary for computing patron bills and making change; ability to communicate effectively in English. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages, the applicant must meet the state of Texas local age requirement for servicing alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment; possess basic math skills necessary for computing patron bills and making change; ability to communicate effectively in English; have work experience performing the identified duties.
