Position: VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION CONSULTANT
About: The Department of Education’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, located in Area 7, West Palm Beach Unit 21A, is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant. The mission of the division is to help people with disabilities find and maintain employment and enhance their independence, with a vision to become the top resource for both job seekers and employers in need of qualified employees.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to vocational rehabilitation such as vocational rehabilitation counseling, psychology, disability studies, business administration, human resources, special education, supported employment, customized employment, economics, or another field preparing individuals to work with consumers and employers; 3 years of paid or unpaid experience in direct work with individuals with disabilities, advocacy activities for individuals with disabilities, as an employer, small business owner or operator, in self-employment, human resources, recruitment, supervising employees, training, or other relevant activities in competitive integrated employment environments.
