Position: Vice President for Facilities and Operations
About: The University of Michigan, internationally renowned for its innovative academics, research, and patient care with an operating budget of over $14 billion, seeks a Vice President for Facilities and Operations (VPFO) to manage facilities for all physical properties, including 37 million square feet of building space on the Ann Arbor campus. The VPFO is a key member of the Business & Finance executive leadership team, overseeing facilities for academic, research, and clinical purposes and managing large construction projects.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) with minimum ten years of leadership experience in a complex organization; eight years leading a diverse organization; expertise in construction, engineering, and facilities management; experience in strategic planning, construction management, and transformational change leadership.
