Position: Veterinary Care Concierge
About: VCA Animal Hospitals Urgent Care-Mar Vista is seeking a Veterinary Care Concierge to join their team in Mar Vista, CA. The care concierge plays a pivotal role in client interactions and ensuring a seamless urgent care experience for pets.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, customer service, patient care, or related industry; Minimum 1 year in a veterinary or animal care industry preferred; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Capable of listening to client objectives and advocate on their behalf; Action oriented, independent, self-starter, but also a strong team player; Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment; Strong computer and technology skills, ability to type 60wpm; Capable of learning medical terminology with support and direction; Comfortable around animals with a basic animal handling skillset and an aptitude to develop animal restraint techniques
