Position: Venue Manager

The company’s first multi-story venue, UNION 828, was launched in 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri, and has expanded to eight locations in seven different states. 828 offers a dynamic work environment, opportunities for continued learning and development, and a commitment to exceptional service, community, equality, and inclusivity.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Experience in event operations preferred; Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in an event venue; Ability to crowd control and mediate stressful situations involving guests; Must be at least 21 years of age; Passion for team development and customer satisfaction; Google Applications knowledge; Embraces new technologies and software; Strong knowledge of social media platforms; Strong written communication skills; Ability to troubleshoot problems, multitask, and delegate; Ability to recruit, develop, manage, and motivate team members; Must have reliable transportation, cell phone, and working computer; Must be able to stand for long periods; Must wear professional business attire during events; Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; Appropriate local alcohol certification(s) required

Benefits: Base salary paid bi-monthly determined by experience, Position is eligible for monthly incentives, Percentage coverage of company offered health insurance plans, Relocation reimbursement not offered
