Position: Valet Driver – Mayo Clinic Rochester

The job involves maintaining a professional demeanor with guests and clients, parking and retrieving vehicles safely, assisting guests with various inquiries and amenities, explaining parking rates, and collecting revenue efficiently. An essential qualification includes a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), a valid driver’s license, and one month of related experience or equivalent training. Knowledge of customer service principles and basic math skills is essential, with the ability to operate a manual transmission being highly desirable.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen; Work Experience: One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience; Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; Skills: Ability to read and write standard English language, read and comprehend instructions, present information effectively, and perform basic math operations; SCOPE: Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures with specific directions given. Errors in judgment could affect department efficiency; Budget Responsibility: The employee has control over available resources only.
